New Build House

Cley, Norfolk

Purslows was appointed to deliver the architectural design, specification, and project management for a new home built in the garden of a derelict pair of semi-detached houses. We worked closely with a developer client to bring the project forward alongside the renovation of the existing properties on the site.

The new house offers four bedrooms and a light-filled, open-plan ground floor that’s perfect for modern living. It pairs a traditional brick and flint exterior - in keeping with the local vernacular - with a clean, contemporary interior. Designed with energy performance in mind, the home combines character with comfort.

Renovation of Listed House

Purslows was brought in to breathe new life into a beautiful but long-neglected Grade II listed house on Elm Hill - one of the most historic streets in Norwich. The building dates back to the 16th century, with some parts believed to have survived the great fire of 1507. After standing empty for years, it was bought by a local conservation charity determined to bring it back into use.
