Care Facility Extension

Thornage, Norfolk

We were brought in to help improve living spaces at a care facility in Thornage by adding more comfortable and private bedrooms for the residents. This project included a brand-new en-suite bedroom and updating an existing room to include its own bathroom.

The design gave the extension a fresh, modern look that fits naturally alongside the neighbouring bedroom - simple, thoughtful, and practical.

Results

This extension has really helped make the care facility feel more like home. Residents now have private, cosy spaces that offer both comfort and independence. It’s a small change that’s made a big difference to day-to-day life there.

Renovation of Listed House

Purslows was brought in to breathe new life into a beautiful but long-neglected Grade II listed house on Elm Hill - one of the most historic streets in Norwich. The building dates back to the 16th century, with some parts believed to have survived the great fire of 1507. After standing empty for years, it was bought by a local conservation charity determined to bring it back into use.

New Build Waterfront House

Purslows was commissioned to deliver the technical design and project management for a new home on a riverside plot in the Norfolk Broads. The site already had planning permission in place, and our role was to develop the scheme through to completion - securing Building Regulations approval, specifying and tendering the works, and managing the build on site.
